Our racks come either a gloss or textured black powder coat. The textured finish is TB at the end of the part number.
AdminDeeZee2 –
The toolbox would fit just fine.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We are not sure. We do not test fit the rack with covers. There are too many to do this with. The racks mounting foot has a flange that will come down on the inside edge of the bed rail. This could interfere with the fitment of the cover. Review installation instructions for more information.
AdminDeeZee2 –
You will want to review the tonneau covers installation to see if it will work in conjunction with the way the cab rack feet sit on inside lip of the bed rail.
Brian Fregeau –
I have had this rack on my truck for about 7 years. It still looks like brand new. Even in the harsh Canadian climate. The steel racks rust pretty quick around here. The original DeeZee logo decal faded after a few years so I ordered a replacement because the rest of the rack looks so good. I just removed this rack because I’m replacing the truck and I did notice that the rubber mounting hardware nuts appear to have deteriorated quite a bit and will likely need to be replaced in order to mount it on the new truck. If it wasn’t for that this would have been 5 star for sure.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Not sure. Check the installation instructions for the rack. I uses the top and inner bed rail for mounting purposes.
AdminDeeZee2 –
You will need to review the installation of the rack to how the tonneau cover installs. The rack feet have a flange that goes on the inside of the bed rail.
AdminDeeZee2 –
With the corners rounded and the angle of the vertical the measurement is subject. The flat part is approximately 54″.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Any of our crossover toolboxes will fit with our cab racks.
AdminDeeZee2 –
It depends on how the cover attaches to the front of the bed. Our cab rack feet uses the inside edge of the rail for installation. Check with the instructions to see if the installation of both will work.
AdminDeeZee2 –
You will need to check the installation instructions for the cab rack to the cover to see if there is any interference.
AdminDeeZee2 –
The front racks are only available with the mesh.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Size of the bed is not the issue. Dodge trucks are different when it comes to the cab height compared to our standard cab rack. Prior to 2009 the the cab rack would fit on a Dodge but when anything was placed on top of the rack it would then touch the top of the cab and the third brake light would not be visible.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Review the installation instructions with how the cover is installed at the front of the truck bed. The cab rack mounting plate has a flange that comes down on the inside of the bed rail.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Unfortunately we do not have an image of the rack on that specific model truck.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Sorry for the confusion. The hardware does come with the rack. Should anything be missing contact our customer service for assistance. 800-779-2102
AdminDeeZee2 –
It may extend a little beyond the mounting plate of the cab rack. It would not be much of an issue.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Suggest looking at the installation to see if the way the cover and the rack install will be compatible. There is a flange on the rack mounting plate that goes down the inside edge of the bed rail which may affect the fitment of the cover.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Our standard toolbox that measures 69.75″ will fit with the cab rack.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Not sure what a saddlebox is for sure. Any standard crossover toolbox will fit with the cab rack.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Cab rack will not work with the Ram box if the mounting feet cover the storage lid for the rambox. Working with the tonneau is questionable due to how some mount at the front of the bed. Review installation instructions to see the rack will work with the cover.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Yes. The same rack for GM 73-19 will work on a 73-19 F150.
AdminDeeZee2 –
The cab rack sits on the bed rail and the feet do go down on the inside of the bed rail for installation. Review the instructions to see if there will be any interference with your cover.
AdminDeeZee2 –

AdminDeeZee2 –
I suggest looking at the installation of the cab rack and compare it to the cover you have. The rack uses the inside edge of the bed rail for installation which may interfere with the tonneau covers installation.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Unfortunately we are unable to get the rack without the mesh on the front. We receive them already complete and packaged.
AdminDeeZee2 –

AdminDeeZee2 –
We do not have lights that fit in those holes. The hole size is length 2.559″ x .866″.
AdminDeeZee2 –
No. The racks mounting feet use the inner truck bed rail for installation. This will affect the attachment of the cover.
AdminDeeZee2 –
From pickup bed to the top of the rack is 23.158″. For fitment with fold up cover will probably not fit. The racks feet that are used to mount to the bed rail has a flange that goes down on the inside edge of the bed rail and will affect the fitment. For more clarification check the installation instructions for DZ95050R. All aluminum racks will use this mounting.
AdminDeeZee2 –

AdminDeeZee2 –
It will not work with OEM cover.
AdminDeeZee2 –
With the installation of the cab rack, there can be issues with covers. The rack is universal and the mounting plates may not sit tight to all truck beds. The plates also mount using the inside rail of the bed.
AdminDeeZee2 –
From rail to top is 23.158″.
Brayden –
I can’t tell if it’s my truck or my install but it’s slightly off and I’m not sure how I can fix it. Instructions were mostly clear, only had to redo one step.
AdminDeeZee2 –
The height from rail to top of the rack is 23.158″.
AdminDeeZee2 –
I am not sure what vehicle this rack is for. That is making it hard to answer the question because we have different sizes from standard trucks, to Ford Super Duty, and RAM. Looking at a Super Duty the bottom of the top extrusion would be approximately 24″ from the bed rail. A standard F150 or GM truck the bottom of the extrusion is approximately 20.5″.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Each truck is a little different but the opening for the third brake will allow it to be visible. There is a chance it could be partially blocked.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Depending on the vehicle part of the mounting feet may go a little beyond the width of the truck bed.
AdminDeeZee2 –
The view of the camera may be affected by the cab rack.
AdminDeeZee2 –

AdminDeeZee2 –

AdminDeeZee2 –
Combined the racks will carry up to 500 lbs. We are unaware of any truck bed covers that will work with our racks with the way they mount on the inside rail.

AdminDeeZee2 –
It depends on how the cover attaches and how that works with the truck bed side rails. The feet on our racks uses the inside edge for mounting.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Do not know if it works with the bak tonnea or not. It depends on how much area the cover needs for mounting at the front of the pickup bed.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We don’t offer a spacer kit to raise the rack up. Give a call to customer service to make sure it is the correct rack for your truck. They can look up the dimensions.
AdminDeeZee2 –

AdminDeeZee2 –

AdminDeeZee2 –
We do not custom build the cab racks.
AdminDeeZee2 –
With so many different covers on the market we cannot test fit the rack with each style. Our rack uses the inside bed rail for installation. For complete information review the instructions.
AdminDeeZee2 –
It does with some. We don’t know specifically which ones. You will have to compare the installation of the rack and the cover to see if there will be any issues.
Britt –
The racks are great! I used the headache rack and the rear rack for hauling oversized hauled. Fit and finish is great. The racks were easy to build and even easier to install on the truck.
Overall great truck bed racks!
AdminDeeZee2 –
We do not have a non mesh rack that will work on the front and all our front racks come with the mesh. The cover may not work because of the installation of the flange from the cab rack plate. I suggest reviewing the instructions for help in this.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Overall width is 72.596″ and bracket to bracket is 62.24″. The mesh does not go the top of the box. We have a piece of brite tread that fills that gap with our logo mounted there.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Flip cover will not work with the cab racks. Cab racks use the inside rail for mounting purposes.
AdminDeeZee2 –
You will have to see if the flange of the rack will allow the tonneau cover to still be installed at the front of the truck bed.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Depending on how the cover is attached. The racks do use the inside rail for installation.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We are only making them in the bolt together design now.

AdminDeeZee2 –
The mounting kits are available. Contact customer service for assistance. 800-779-2102
AdminDeeZee2 –
You can have them as close or as far apart as you would like. They slide in the cab rack channel.
AdminDeeZee2 –
They do stick above the cab. They can be used similar to a ladder rack.
