Bedcaps for GM trucks will not work on dually beds. Ford and RAM bedcaps fit both dually and non-dually. GM made the regular and dually beds different widths along the top.

It is a glossy powder coat. If they get a scratch deep enough it will go through the coating and reveal the silver underneath.

This is a notation specific to the trucks that come with factory plastic caps. If they are not there our bed cap will not have a very snug fit because we have formed it to work over the factory piece.

They will probably not fit as tight to the rail as they should. It might work for you if you can find something to use as a spacer on the inside edge of the rail. This will allow them to be snug to the body on the outside. Otherwise I am not sure what else will solve this issue.

I suggest checking if your tonneau cover has room for adjusting. The bedcaps use the inside bed rail for mounting purposes which will affect the distance from side to side.
