We recommend checking the dimensions of the tank to where it will be in the truck bed to make sure it will fit in the space.

DZ8556FSB is a chest box that can be mounted to a L-shape tank using our BKTCOMBO kit. I am not sure what the noise is when the steel flexes. Call customer service and see if they have run into this issue before. 800-779-2102

They are transfer tanks that can be used to haul diesel fuel with an exterior pump to get the fuel out.

Our transfer tanks are basically designed for transferring fuels from tank to equipment. Our auxiliary tanks have larger baffles and have been tested to meet DOT regulations for being connected to the vehicles fuel tank. The auxiliary tanks can be used both as a gravity feed and have a pump installed.

I am not sure which part number you are looking at but the largest length from side to side that will work is 56″. The mounting should clear any items under the bed. We recommend checking before drilling for installing any of our products.

Our transfer tanks do not meet the requirements of an auxiliary fuel tank connected to a vehicle’s fuel supply system under “Title 49 of the United States Federal Register governing transportation of dangerous goods. Our auxiliary tanks meet Federal DOT requirements for UN31B tank. This means we have sent our auxiliary tanks to test facilities to meet the DOT standards for tanks that are connected to the vehicles fuel supply system.

We recommend to check the dimensions of from the front of the bed to where the hitch will be mounted to be sure there is adequate space for the tank.
